Some published records (maybe from Monnette) say Zebulon Ayres and Temperance Bonham married in 1728; others say 1750 (including Ebenezer Mack Treman). Still seems strange to me that a couple who married in 1728 would have the first of their eight children in 1755 when they had been married twenty-some years and the mother was 45 years old. |
