Narrative
I am reluctant to include this connection as it is probably wrong. Most lists of John Cobb's children do not list a Rachel. His brother Clisby did settle in the Ashe/Alleghany/Surry area and his decendants claim that he is the only Cobb to settle there from NJ, the other Cobbs coming from the Tidewater region. - THS
